Welcome to West Suffolk Swimming Club
who are just starting out on their competitive swimming careers up to those competing at national / international level.Coaching: We have a dedicated and highly qualified team of coaches who will help you to integrate in to the appropriate training sessions and to improve your stroke and stamina in preparation for competition. Most of our swimmers come from the Haverhill and Bury St Edmunds areas of Suffolk although some do travel further. West Suffolk Swimming Club is affiliated to the Amateur Swimming Association, the ASA East Region and to Suffolk ASA.
Competing: As well as hosting two highly successful Open Meets each year the club takes part in numerous galas and leagues. Iin the past, we have been hampered considerably, by the closure of the Bury pool for two years, followed by closure of the Haverhill pool for a year. However, with our strong coaching team and recent recruitment, we are now seeing the results with the club going from strength to strength in the County rankings. Recently we have won the Suffolk Winter league and also exceeded all expectations in the numbers of Regional and National qualifiers this year.
