Congratulations to all those who took part, there were some excellent swims with many regional qualifying times and lots of PBs, so very well done to all of the swimmers.
There are far too many people to thank, but some who deserve particular mention are the many parents who helped organise cards, look after the hall, help to set up / clear up - the meet couldn’t run without you.
A huge thank you to Sheri for organising the entries and all the other bits that allowed the gala to take place.
Thank you to the guys on the timing gear, it all ran so smoothly it is easy to forget the hard work you do.
Thank you to all of the officials, many of whom turn out gala after gala, without you our swimmers couldn’t compete.
From the officials, a huge thank you to Gill and all of her helpers who kept us fed and watered all weekend.
Thank you to the leisure centre staff who looked after us with such good humour.
Thank you to the parents who supported their swimmers so vocally.
Finally - a really big thank you to the swimmers, you competed hard, supported your team mates with great gusto and behaved impeccably all weekend.
