This newsletter contains useful information on the funding and availability of courses such as the ASA UKCC Level 1, 2 and 3 courses. There is also useful information for coaches and pool side helpers on upcoming Continued Professional Development courses. It is a long document but well worth looking at.

Helping on poolside can be a rewarding way to spend some time each week. Here are a few comments from our current helpers -

"The thrill of teaching small kids their first strokes and watching as they became more confident in the water still gives me a great buzz and I get great satisfaction from seeing kids I helped to swim, enjoying their swimming at any standard"

Many club members have taken the poolside helpers qualification which is the starting point and this can lead to teaching or coaching.
